We’re a growing human resources consulting firm based in Brampton. The firm provides services in areas such as Staffing Services, Career Services, Educational Services and Business Advisory.

We are looking for a dynamic, high performing Business Development Associate who is interested in selling creative consulting services to various businesses and organizations. To be successful in this position, the candidate must be goal oriented and result-driven.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop the pipeline of new business for the organization
  • Prospect potential new clients with support from the Principal Consultant and convert these into increased business
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging professional network
  • Identify potential clients and build relationships with new and existing clients
  • Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s leaders
  • Lead the social media campaign for the organization
  • Work with Career and Staffing Services team to develop proposals that meet client’s needs and objectives
  • Participate in pricing services and packages
  • Maintain and present a positive image for the organization
  • Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels
  • Create brief monthly progress reports for the Principal Consultant

    Our client is a faith-based organization with presence in more than 196 countries of the world. One of the parishes located in Brampton, Ontario is looking for an Administrative Assistant to perform the following functions.

    In order for you to be selected as a candidate, you will need the ability to write clearly and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. A pleasing personality with strong communication skills is also highly valued.

    Responsibilities Include:

  • Answering and directing phone calls
  • Organizing and scheduling appointments
  • Planning meetings and taking detailed minutes
  • Writing and distributing email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Assisting in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Developing and maintaining a filing system
  • Updating and maintaining office policies and procedures
  • Ordering office supplies and researching new deals and suppliers
  • Maintaining contact lists
  • Booking travel arrangements
  • Submitting and reconciling expense reports
  • Providing general support to visitors
  • Acting as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Liaising with Administrator and other executives to handle request
  • Requirements

  • College Diploma or equivalent required. Qualification in Secretarial Studies, Office Administration, Book Keeping or Accounting will be an added advantage
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant or office admin assistant
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment including printers, scanner and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Strong communication skills using Social Media
  • Possess minimum of G-2 License
